Executive Offsite
A healthy and high-functioning executive team is the backbone of an organization. If there is confusion, silos, or politics at the top leadership level, the business cannot succeed. Lineo's seasoned consultants have a proven track record working with executive leadership teams so that they are able to work together more effectively, model great leadership, and empower the organization to be successful.
Executive TEAM OFFSITE OBJECTIVES
Build a Cohesive Leadership Team
A cohesive, high-performing team must establish a foundation of trust so that they can have candid conversations about difficult topics. We'll help all executive team members get to know each other on a deeper level and identify focus areas so they can work together more effectively.
Clarify Your Organization's Vision
The executive leadership team is ultimately responsible for making sure their organization has a clear and compelling vision for what you are ultimately trying to accomplish and why it matters. We'll make sure your team is intellectually aligned around the organization's shared purpose, strategic direction, and top priorities, help simplify that narrative, and organize it into a compelling one-page playbook.
Improve Meetings and Communication
An offsite is a great opportunity to assess how well your team is executing. At Lineo, we help the team identify what's currently working and not working well in their meetings, decision-making, and communication, and make adjustments so that they can achieve their goals.
HOW WE PLAN YOUR OFFSITE
Introductory Call
All of our engagements begin with an introductory call to get a pulse on your team's needs and begin building your agenda. Agenda building is a collaborative process.
Prep Work
All team members will be asked to take an anonymous survey to help identify current areas of strength and opportunity, as well as an individual personality profile, so we have a common language for discussing typical points of friction between different styles.
Pre-session Individual Interviews
All team members will be asked to take an anonymous survey to help identify current areas of strength and opportunity, as well as an individual personality profile, so we have a common language for discussing typical points of friction between different styles.
Logistics Guidance
Our team provides guidance on room setup and materials needed. We encourage casual environments (i.e., soft seating as opposed to a boardroom table) and keep our sessions low-tech to promote more team interaction.
Pre-session Call
We'll review the assessment results with the team leader, coach the leader on opening remarks, and update the agenda based on our discoveries. This call typically takes place a few days before the offsite.
DELIVERABLES AND FOLLOW-UP
At Lineo, we believe the offsite isn't a standalone event; it's part of a journey. That's why we actively follow up with our clients to ensure they maintain momentum after the event.
Offsite Summary
We capture notes from the session and provide a digestible summary of discussions, decisions, and next steps.
Organizational Playbook
We help your team simplify the narrative surrounding the company's mission, vision, values, and goals and organize it into a crisp, one-page playbook.
Debrief Call
We debrief every offsite with the leader to ensure that the team has the support they need to be successful.
Meeting Audit
Regular team meetings are one of the primary places we want to see our work have an impact. For teams that adopt our recommended tactical meeting format, we'll attend one of your regular meetings virtually to observe and give feedback.
Check-In Calls
We'll reach out for monthly check-in calls to monitor and promote the team's progress.
Team Progress Report
We care about measuring impact. 3-6 months after our initial offsite, we offer a comparison assessment so we can track your progress and coach you on next steps.
